Where is he?
i want him here
but there’s no one I see
I long to feel love
from the heart of a man
It's not that You aren't enough,
and I know you understand
I need to be told I'm beautiful
and I need to be embraced,
I need someone to wipe away tears
when they're rolling down my face.
I know I'm not ready for marriage
I have a few more years
But still I feel so lonely
so full of distant fears.
What if I miss him
and don't know he's mine?
What if he misses me,
then nothing could be fine.
But, Lord...
You know his name.
I sometimes wish
I knew the same.
But I will trust You
it's all I can do
and continue to pray
that he'll trust you too

I'm waiting, God
Where is he?
i want him here
but there’s no one I see
I long to feel love
from the heart of a man
