[hometext] => Just more deep thinking.....
[bodytext] => What is it about them? That everyone is drawn to? What is it that everyone else has That I somehow missed? Am I really that ugly? Should I really smile all the time? I don’t understand, what’s wrong with me? Do I think too much, or is that just my imagination? Are their blank stares really all that meaningful? Can they ever comprehend All the things I see? Why they are the way they are, And I will always be me. An empty, hollow, shallowness, Lies far underneath Their surfaces formed of material possessions Money is just paper Sex is just a muscle. Nerves, sweat and feelings Feelings don’t hold, They change and go. Why cling to paper and feelings? They indulge and consume And don’t question why Their civilization they believe in so deeply Is nothing more than a concealing lie. Who we are in reality Is hidden and fought so much They think no on e can see, But their walls are glass That I see straight through While I merely watch Others shelter the illusion Of what they thought they knew. How can they be so blind? Why not view the picture whole? So often overstated, Thinking they can “see inside your soul” Bullcrap and harsh realities Never mix Instead the bullcrap builds and piles Until reality is nonexistent to those who believe In a society so superficial And they still think they can succeed. Civilization was better When it was less civilized The years of mounting falsehoods Are being monopolized. What’s the point in living If you never fully live? Others feelings and rules and laws Prevent us from being who we are Our naked secrets are never shown For fear of bruising Everything we’ve ever known Well, too bad for you because when society crumbles, I can say I saw it coming And when everyone else stumbles, I can skip away and keep on running.
