For you mum a beautiful golden rose
Placed by your side gentle wind blows
Thoughts always of your affection
So many memories fond recollection

Mothers day a happy day for some
Smiles only for my daughter mum
By your picture placed a colourful bouquet
The image of your smile fading away

In my arms I want to hold you tight
Left with words a poem to recite
Wishing you were here night and day
Love will remain as your smile fades away

We never got to say the words goodbye
Cant see the words as I sit and cry
I miss your cuddles miss your kiss
Memories precious a heart to reminisce

So on mothers day my love I send
More than a mother my best friend
A kiss and a hug its just not the same
A golden rose placed by a picture frame

Forever in my heart and soul
Love you mum miss you so much

Love Angelxxxxx

A beautiful tribute to your mother. So much love you have written in this poem. You haven't forgotten her, you miss her, you write poems to her that is the way everyone wishes to be remembered. That is love Angel, and somewhere I believe she is smiling so proud of this write. Kie
