[hometext] => From the point of view of a young black boy in America who is racially discriminated against
[bodytext] => Does my color Rub off on you? Does it spread To cover everything? Or does it just keep to itself? Does it stay with me, where it’s safe? Or does it try to take over? My darkness is a speck, It doesn’t become a night. It is opposite of a single star, Whose whiteness shines, Lonely, Through the dark, dark night. But nobody yells at the star. Night doesn’t scold the star. The star is loved. But the light scolds me. I am its darkness. I’m sorry for the night I cause in your day. White is always Loved more than black.
