When it's done you think, where did that come from ? We are but pens in the Master hand my friend. [bodytext] => ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The Masters Pen

Why am I driven to write?
What makes this need so great?
Why must I share these thoughts?
Indeed could it be fate?

How is it a lowly man
With no education or degree
Should write of life, love and happiness
As if he might see

There is an inner voice
That’s heard within my heart
Not spoken or engendered by self
Of credit I take no part

Yet at times I hear it clearly
And my soul knows it’s true
And so I write as best I can
My hearts interpretation to you

I do not write for structure
Nor do I write with great command
Yet the hearts who are intended
Do hear and understand

I’ve discerned I am but an instrument
A tool the Master has made
No more than the pen I use
I write what I am bade

So if the words I write
Move your heart and help you grow
Give me no credit whatsoever
They’re Gods inspiration for your soul

Russ

Yes, I think we are all put to use from time to time to do his work. I feel that if I can touch one person in something I have written then it was worth all the useless words that did nothing for anyone. We don't realize in life how we and the words we write or utter can affect other lives. You have penned this perfectly. Great work, Russ.
