[hometext] => I wrote this poem to my best friend who has always been there for me, through thick and thin. I just wanted to dedicate this poem to Morgan. I love her so much! :-)
[bodytext] => Morgan, I need you now,
Please take me by the hand. Stand by me in my time of need, Take the time to understand. You have always been there for me, You are my bestest friend. You've helped me through everything, And I wanna keep you until the very end. I know I have made bad choices, But you always stuck by my side. Through all the happy times we shared, And through all the rives that I've cried. Take my hand, dear friend, And lead me from this place. Chase away my doubts and fears, Wipe the tears from my face. I'm kinda glad that I got caught, Now I can get the help I need. Now I know that I can truely stop, Stop doing all that weed. Friend, I cannot stand alone, I need your hand to hold. The warmth of your gentle touch, In my world that's grown so cold. I'm starting all over again, I'm going to bring back that old Val. I really know I can do it, And believe me, I shall. Keep your eyes upon me, Keep me in your sight. Help me down my crooked road, Lead me into the light. The road I'm on is very dark, I'm not sure I know the right way, But with you by my side, I promise you I will not stray. Protect me from the world I'm in, Please help me make it through. Let me hold your hand, Let me lean on you. Please keep being a friend to me, And hold me day by day. Because with your helping hand in mine, I know I'll find a way. " Friends forever," I say, " Together till the end." We'll do everything together, I promise, Morgan, you are my bestest friend. I LOVE YOU!!!!!
