Tittering shadows,lengthing behind my back
Waving mordant pool, the monster behind me,hidden in black
Faceless,reapproached
I continue down the sun-soaked
Evening path, towards the plates of gold
The scarless, stark neverland that lay before me
Open like a glittering wound
Shadows dare not touch the amber lined trees
Or the gilded walk upon which my bare feel tread
Unblinking sun,bristling and twisting
Falling,a slow star to descend into the depths of space
Shadows encrouch, hiding beneath the leaves of the trees
The cracks in the ground, behind each blade of grass
Moving synchrous with the amnesiac that is the wind
Her dauntless fingers, invisible to the naked eye
Pushes the shadows, stretcheds the darkness, expands the night
It opens, the night, much like a remembering eye catching the light
And its expanse of sparkles reminds me of the monster that was
Horribly, flat, stalking. How could it be redemmed?
Redemmed by blending into the ashen divinity of its breathern
And I,watching watching a sunless sky dance
Without shadow, without shade, without the need to be monitored
By the over-nosey shadow attached to my form
And I too, become shapeless ash and rise to the sparkling expanse
The scintillating kingdom of the sun and the moon
Exploding into flecks of tenebrious-illuminate space of night
I become,
Im engulfed into the black
Ill drift away, like the light on the moonlight terrace
And I too become part of the deteriorating light
As the stars collide, the skies cry crimson tears
And it scars the surface of the perspiring earth.
And the whole world be left in the engulfed blackness
Until the sun conquers its heavenly perch once again.
