This girl was sent from high above,
No way my wife could she compete,
This girl just had her truly beat.

My wife she heard and loudly laughed,
She went to me and stood abaft,
"Listen, worm", I heard her say,
Here's the way we're gona play."

"See that door, I'm changing locks,
Get you out in only socks.
Want you back, you let me know,
You darn well know, I've got the dough!"

I felt quite strong. I gave no darn,
My new girl she heard the yarn.
"You have no dough?", she said to me,
"Please get lost, I'm done with thee!"

Surprised I be, Surprised I was
I'll have to give my wife a buzz,
And play the game the way she said,
And not to let my face get red.

Listen kids, It's all a lark,
Like playing baseball in the park,
Sometimes you hit a triple run,
Sometimes it really's not much fun.

And if you do not play the game
Life becomes so bloomin' tame,
And that's why many can't go far,
Their hands get caught in the cookie jar. [comments] => 7 [counter] => 154 [topic] => 7 [informant] => norm [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => HumorPoetry )

I hope you find your way back to Pearl........she's a nice lady , but if I was she.......the divorce papers at you I'd whirl. My goodness after your 39 years....you should have known better that's for sure!

Dear Norm,
Alas, I've played this game
I wish the ending were so tame
You know it isn't any fun
when one of the threesome
owns a gun.
