[bodytext] => Fields of poppies red No finer place to be in this summer day These poppies so fine the scent fills the air As I walk throu this field My finger tips caress the petals as I walk I lose myself there, Time stands still I am in the centre now I lie down And close my eyes And drift away I dream I see a woman On the edge of this field of poppies red, She to like me walks through Her finger tips like mine Caress the petals They catch the breeze They fly high in the summer sky A petal lands on my face She is close now I feel her near me My eyes are still shut She stands over me, A single tear of love falls from her eye I wash my face in that tear All the love I ever wanted So pure so fine I hold out my hand I beckon her to lie beside me. To give all my love to this woman Is all I ask. For ever and eternity. I would give myself and surrender myself to love Will you lie beside me In this field of poppies red Forever in time as to lovers become one In this field o`ve poppies red.
