The words run through my head.
On the inside, my heart is like lead.
He is my one Desire, my true love-
He is my angel, sent to me from above.

Answered wishes, whispered promises.
Around in circles my head runs
Going over the would have, could have, should have done’s.
In every way, my dream come true-
And late at night, all day long, forever more, dream I do.

Sweet prince, a thousand times goodnight.
Shattered like a chalice, we were forced to part.
But, my beautiful warrior, you still have my heart.
I will find you again, like the very first time,
Nothing will tear us up again, you are mine.

Together… somewhere, someday.
It was your soul so vibrant and free
That told me we are Meant to Be.
The sun will shine again, eternally.
And you and I will forever be.

Forever and always,
The words run through my head.
