Array ( [sid] => 38847 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => where are you [time] => 2004-03-16 05:42:01 [hometext] => [bodytext] => Perhaps I should bow out and take a dive
Time has become a constant reminder of this space
My every breadth is a whisper of hope,
Praying that soon my heart will not beat in solitude
I heard that there is a jewel made just for my crown
Still this crown sits without a crown jewel

Did I miss you along the way?
Was I too self absorbed to realise your purpose in my life
Looking back I can swear we have never met
If I’m wrong are you gone for good?
My heart still feels there’s magic we owe the world
A conversion of fairy tale to reality

Though I’ve never met you nor have proof you exist
You’ve always been my reality my constant reminder of faith
Now my heart faints in disbelief, my mind cannot fathom this hope
My patience is running thin the dream has become torture
This cannot be the end of this journey
I’ve always believed it ends in your arms.

Where are you?
Since I have not heard the music “our special symphony”
I wonder if the path I have chosen will lead me to you.
With faith in “happy ever after” and the power of “wow”
I hold my head up high my heart in complete assurance
Soon I will find you and the curtain of doubt will be removed
From the window of hope.

Now I have to wonder where are you?

This kept me intrigued right to the end. What a heartfelt write. Great images. Well-chosen words.
