It’s the perfect time of year
To run through the halls and scream
Scream about our success in this business
That’ll tear the rest of them apart
We can let out the joy of our hearts
Yeah, it’s the perfect time of year
It’s the perfect time of year
To claim this place our own
Our own hide-out from the world in which we live
The world that wants to join our ways
But just doesn’t understand a word we say
Yeah, it’s the perfect time of year
It’s the perfect time of year
To discover the sixth sense each of us holds
Whether it be our similar ideas and thoughts
Either way, we help each other
We’re nothing without one another
Yeah, it’s the perfect time of year
It’s the perfect time of year
To spend every waking moment together
Together bonding, making us stronger
Getting to know who we are
Understanding where to go; just how far
Yeah, it’s the perfect time of year
It’s the perfect time of year
To express our sorry earnestly enough
Enough to forgive all our petty mistakes
That’s something they never possess
There was nothing we didn’t express
Yeah, it’s the perfect time of year
It’s the perfect time of year
To see us for all that we are
We are more than anyone expected us to be
We’ve all grown up
We can’t be shown up
Yeah, it’s the perfect time of year
Alas, it’s that time of year
To say goodbye to this perfect world
This perfect world that is now growing up
You’re leaving me, aren’t you?
You’re both leaving me
How can this be the perfect time of year?
