Tyrant of Seclusion

Contributed by forever_lonely on Monday, 15th March 2004 @ 10:16:38 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Once silent crows sit upon thee, calling out each breath
These muted marks of delusion, words pretence of death
Autumns courage fading through, each leaf embraces nature
In dormant trees lies winters reign, frozen by our failure
This seasons course but to demise, winters line repeated
A frosted heart in veins of glass, essence kept completed

Upon twilight the shadows call, enveloped within darkness
Each summoned word illusion lost, a solitudes regress
A silence plagues upon the winds, whispers taunt a breeze
In silver lace the rains embark, cascading like disease
Each droplet scars each leaf with life, revitalised ones youth
This elixir kept in twilights mouth, shadowing the truth

This creature lies, eternal loss, a tyrant of seclusion
A celestial stigma, buried within, sentiments confusion
Open scars of winters wraith, infected with torment
These dormant trees, consumed with hate, opening lament
When twilight breaks, sunrise draws, vanish will these fears
Encased in pride, lives persist, illusions were theses tears

I was profoundly impressed by this poem, Luke.

:This creature lies, eternal loss, a tyrant of seclusion
A celestial stigma, buried within, sentiments confusion :

It was a lesson in how to appreciate imagery.
Thanks for writing this. Truly.
