He confuses me
He makes me mad
He drives me up the wall
He’s flirtatious
He doesn’t mean anything by it
I think
I’m not too sure
He chooses the wrong people to date
Thin, blonde, dumb
Whatever, bimbos
He makes rude comments
He doesn’t listen
His focus is on dumb stuff
He walks away while I’m talking to him
He smells good
He reminds me of someone
His hair is always a mess
But it’s cute
He’s fascinated by dumb stuff
A skateboard, a blonde, a bracelet, a thong
Whatever
I don’t think he notices me
A friend, a coworker, an online buddy
Nothing more, sometimes less
What if he noticed
Would it make me happier
Would any of this matter anymore
It doesn’t matter now
He wont notice, not now
After a year, three, four, maybe more
Did my personality show a horrid flaw
If anything it’s my forthrightness
Maybe my weight is the problem
Doesn’t he know I try
I try to change it
Sweets tempt me too much
I don’t know
He makes me want more
In a sense more than him
Maybe better than him
In the end, I’m still in my dilemma
Since I don’t really want more or better
I want him to notice
Me for me, him for him, together
No, dream on my friend
