People look but they're not sure, they look like ones from Disney..
A salamander with a limp, a turtle with a shell,
An alligator on a leash, a heron comes as well.

A gangly crew, I'm telling you, There isn't one with class,
They're O. K. just as long as they don't make an open pass,
By this I mean a touch obscene each of them is able,
They're opt to flirt with anyone, a June or Sue or Mabel.

After all they're critters and you know the critters' code,
Any female is fair game, now, that's what I've been told.
If you're a girl and want to twirl, I have a date for two,
One of four, there ain't no more, will gladly go with you.

So don't be proud, there ain't no crowd, it's strictly for tonite,
Sal and Turt, and Ali and hero promise not to bite,
It all depends, when your date ends, what happens after that,
How hungry are you after all, bespeaks a future pat. [comments] => 4 [counter] => 217 [topic] => 7 [informant] => norm [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => HumorPoetry )

Dear Norm, I hope you find a date
a lovely girl and fine,
and I don't care if she has blonde hair
just so she isn't a daughter of mine!

Well, I guess that leaves me out. my critters love turtles, salamanders, and jelly between your toes.
I walk with them every day......and attack they do too! Every tom, dick, and harry dog they can find that's new! Yes, walking with your critters can bring you much joy, unless they're like mine.........dragging me all over town........I'll never get a date.......the gents just turn the other way........and boy do they frown!
Loved this really nfty poem.
Norm...you're getting too good.
We're going to have to put you out to pasture!
consue
Have you changed your diet, or are you finally eating something for a while?

You just make me roll with laughter. How you do it I dunno! You have a great sense of humor and are so talented. You make many people smile every time you write. This was so original and I truly loved it. Kie
