Everything’s going so fast,
I feel insecure, I don’t have control,
Out of control, out of control.

Why so fast,
Why so quickly,
Aren’t there enough hours in the day?
What’s happening, why can’t I keep up,
Out of control, out of control.

Help me, everything’s a blur,
Give me a chance, I just can’t stay steady,
But it’s getting bigger, the pile higher,
And there’s nothing I can do at all.

Why so fast,
Why so quickly,
Aren’t there enough hours in the day?
What’s happening, why can’t I keep up,
Out of control, out of control.

Help me, please slow it down,
I don’t have any idea what happened,
Redo the last week and I’ll catch up,
Out of control, out of control.

Why so fast,
Why so quickly,
Aren’t there enough hours in the day?
What’s happening, why can’t I keep up,
Out of control, out of control.

Pushing ahead, can’t keep up,
The ground’s being pulled away,
Everything’s racing, to fast for me,
Out of control, out of control.

Why so fast,
Why so quickly,
Aren’t there enough hours in the day?
What’s happening, why can’t I keep up,
Out of control, out of control.

Why so fast,
Why so quickly,
Aren’t there enough hours in the day?
What’s happening, why can’t I keep up,
Out of control, out of control.

Out of control, out of control.

I can absolutely relate to this poem, it mirrors my feelings perfectly. Man, I wish I could give you a couple of hours off of my day, just as a reward for writing this really good poem. Take care.
