lies a sacred place called home,
a destiny where many search,
an empire of it's own,
to call it that of love, which be,
a place of rest and peace,
first we must learn to open,
the place of destiny,
we look through doors and windows,
unlocking many wounds,
searching night and day,
almost as if we're doomed,
we look through lonely hearts,
choosing only what we need,
we pass the one that strays,
challenging the heed,
we search to find the wisdom,
to unlock the key of life,
but scatter to return,
when day turns out it's light,
Our thoughts we lose on purpose,
trying to forget,
while depriving our own destiny,
we muffle at our wit,
Our mind a shifting motor, a vigilant on guard,
dividing good from evil, notching what is scarred,
scared we run for cover, hoping no-one saw,
not knowing we've abolished,
we've now become a flaw,
absorbing part of change, we stand in disbelief,
looking for a moral sign, we meditate relief,
Inside a pit, we lie as bait,
a giblet walking blind,
waiting to be nourished, clutching our find,
We cross another road, agree-ablely disturbed,
Between this world of love and hatred,
waiting to be heard,
we starve for recognition,
its all a game of chance,
and then we're interupted,
distracted by our dance,
In this murky world, where is our destiny,
are we visibly connected, to resolve diversity,
we self-indulge our honesty,
overfeeding our greed,
deforming our crutch, starving those who need,
bringing our impurity,
we're backed against a wall,
our remains turn back to dust,
another time we fall,
Humbly we ask for pardon,
quiver's shake our bones,
tallow-faced we try to enter,
uncertain of the doom,
we're tackled with a girder,
arranged by who we've been,
and then the door of eternity,
finally let's us in!
