But this past that I'm clinging to -
Completes me.
I've always had a feeling;
This is where I belong, and so I've held on
Secretly.
How am I expected to break away?
How am I suppose to overcome -
The feelings that urge me to stay?
No one knows what the future will bring;
But I'd like to think .....
There's a reason for everything.
So I'll blindly follow my heart,
Wherever it chooses to lead -
Subcome to this addiction;
It has claimed as its need.
I will not try to fool myself and say goodbye....
I love you too much -
I will not pretend to let go,
Only to end up living a miserable lie;
What purpose would that serve....
What good would it do?
I'd rather hold on;
And live the miserable truth -
Atleast that way I'd never have to wonder....
What might have been;
I'd never have to wonder -
If I gave up the chance to be with you again.
I just don't have it in me to move on......
So, In case you should ever need me,
Please know -
My constant love you can count on;
I never have been able to let you go.

I can relate to this poem. You are very in touch with your feelings and emotions. Sometimes we are inspired by the pain we experience in life. I hope you find the strength to move on.
