Suffocating
Breath
Stolen away
The wind whipping
Violent
There's no calm
Before this storm
The rain begins
To pelt
As tears
Running down the window
Pooling on the outdoor sill
The world outside
Is crying
Seen through tinted glass
Sheltered from
Unwillingly
Wishing to be enfolded
In the chill
Of wind and rain
Feel the cleansing
Making new
Drowning sorrow
With tears and darkness
Yet sitting inside
Kept from this rejoice
A longing torn soul
