everyone is always
criticizing me.
They say I don't care enough,
but they don't understand.
They don't understand the pain
and the hate in my brain.
They don't understand the sorrow
and depression that lurks behind
my dark eyes.
I don't think they even know...
Or do they just not care?
They try to tell me
how to live my life,
they say I'm doing
everything wrong...
They don't really know me.
They don't know why I am
the way I am,
I'm not even sure I do...
But I know why I do what I do,
and I won't let anyone
tell me to do
any different.
I will never change myself for you.
Call me stubborn,
call me hard headed,
but this is me;

They are so unlike me...
everyone is always
criticizing me.
They say I don't care enough,
but they don't understand.
They don't understand the pain
and the hate in my brain.
They don't understand the sorrow
