Whilst she was in her slumber
Slowly
The end of this here mortal world

Forever Breaking
Her heart will be

Gone is now the one she loved
His sweet passing
In her slumber

Lay her down
Forever now
Stop the tearing
Of her soul

The sweetness of his kiss
A feeling now
Thats vanished

The spell of love
Now broken
Mortality sets in

The elderly woman
Crying on the grave
Sleep, sleep, sleep
His never ending sleep

With each flower
So gently she puts down
Another piece
Of her borken heart
Goes upon the grave

'He's in a better place' they say
And very true this is
'No pain doth he feel now'
Even truer are these words
But tell her now
Just why
Despite his happiness
Oh why does the grief stay? [comments] => 2 [counter] => 168 [topic] => 22 [informant] => night_child [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LostLove )

borken heart... lol. don't know if that was intentional, but makes me wonder... good write! and as for grief, it seems that's something for time to heal.... ;0)
