Array ( [sid] => 38066 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => It was so hard [time] => 2004-03-10 02:35:59 [hometext] => This poem is about some things about me that could be about you too [bodytext] => As I look back at myself when I was young...I had so many hopes and dreams, such beautiful fantisy`s with so much life to live and so much love to give...my fantasy was to be free and sing and dance....love to no extent and to give all there was to give, never worrying about taking a chance.
I had never imagined it could hurt so much...........
to trust and then distrust
I`ve been in one barrel and then another
I lost my grandmother then my nephew and my mother
All I had left to turn to was my grandfather...he had no longer wanted to live
I felt so lost and confused until I looked into the eyes of my children
Those eyes are my life...my pure love and the reason I survive.
The most and greatest thing going for us now...is the highest power that has given us our lives and allowed us to survive...I try not to forget to look up to the sky and say thank you for our lives and letting us live and learn to understand and forgive
Even though I thought it was so hard
I could look to the stars...And release any pain....
I have finally learned how to feel at peace and survive again.
