come out of the darkness so i can see your face, child

What's your name, why are the dogs a-bark?
What have you done, to find yourself in a place like this,
horrid,
cold
&
dark...

Now don't hide, i know you are there,
come to me, i'll spread my wings to protect you,
from life, from people,
come to me and ask for forgiveness,
because life wasn't fair to you either

See that black cat i have here....
it's not dead, it's not alive,
it's just here as i am here,
forever waiting till my days of strife...

Still can't find the answers? Isn't the wind cold tonight, the moon is hidden under the bank of clouds, but why aren't you at home, instead of waiting here in the middle of the night as it passes slow?

Why are you asking what i am? Am i not a mythological beast? A terrany, a violent unforgiving thing? or am i a angel of darkness..... don't you hear me at night asing?

Now go to sleep child... tommorow when you wake, you won't find any trace of me, or the cat, or yourself here at the lake.... This is interesting. Just when I think it's going a certain direction, it switches gears. Intriguing.
