In the calm of the night,
Without the sound of your heart beating
my heart slowly fills with fright.

And this fright is not of monsters,
Or a scary ghost or two,
But it’s that I might spend my entire life
with just memories of you

And the next time that love comes around,
Which I’m never sure it will,
I will show that all I need
is for this deep hole to be filled,

This deep hole is the darkest place
Where no one ever goes,
my loneliness stays here,
and it’s the only place I know.

And because of all this loneliness
That’s building up inside,
I feel as if I should run away
to a place where I can hide
because inside of this hiding place
It will all endure the same,
As it once did in the real world,
Where loneliness remained

But the moon will fade
And the sun will rise
On this lifetime of rejection
and half-heard cries

And the stars will all remain
buried deep up in the sky,
and the one that I will wish upon
I still hope I will find.
And you are my great telescope,
To point me to the light,
and that is why I dream of you,
Every single night.

This one is really good and powerful too, I really like the analogies you use and the way you place the words, it makes it deeper
