Nobody's reflection in morning light
A morning wish that its just dreams
But no, its reality or so it seems
One eye opens to the curtain rail
A window of people could see that im frail
Rolling over i remember im alone
He's not beside me, again on my own
I clutch my quilt, curl and snuggle
I picture him though he's not here to cuddle
Once there were too that lay in this bed
Just me and that memory now in my head
Together was alarm clocks ringing
Sunny mornings when birds where singing
The birds appear quiet my clock batteries died
The cold side now wakes me like tears ive cried
Just me in this bed now, I wish it wasnt so
To hold you right now and not let go
I bury my head my mornings are dark
I cry to my pillow "I Miss You Mark"
From double to single thats me n you
Now its me, just one not too
From dinner for too, to a lonely heart
From sharing a bed, to worlds apart
Bring back my sun make my birds sing
Let me wake to you make my alarmclock ring
From the cold side i lift my head
Its not a dream, Its just me in this bed.......
