Thrusted to and fro by the raging winds that blow
The tempest that drives the seas
I know not which way is home... for land I cannot see
I've lost my sense of direction
As I cry out oh, Lord, to thee
I wander from day unto day
Never knowing where I'll be...
Where I'll rest my weary head at night
Or even if I'll find something to eat
In this shipwreck called life

I've been told to seek the Lord
In such times as these
Although I cannot feel His touch... or His face to see
I know He is there... I just have to believe

There has been no life preserver thrown out upon this raging sea
No ship to be sturdy beneath my feet
No life raft launched to carry me home
As I float upon life stormy seas
