You say that you're fine,
That nothing is wrong.

But yet I know you stay up late each night,
With tears coming out of your eyes.

I know this,
Because I am there with you,
Tears and all.

But I know,
That there is more to crying,
Than those tears on our face.

Just knowing that you cry,
does something more to me,
Than bringing a tear to my eye.
It stabs my heart,
Like a knife being thrusted into my chest.
It numbs my body,
Like downing an entire bottle of morphine.

But yet you still have enough courage in your heart,
To tell me that nothing is wrong.
But I want you to know,
That when you run out of courage,
That I will be there,
To cry with you,
Until the day that we cry no more,

There is More to Crying Then Tears

You say that you're fine,
That nothing is wrong.

But yet I know you stay up late each night,
With tears coming out of your eyes.

I know this,
Because I am there with you,
Tears and all.

But I know,
That there is more to crying,
Than those tears on our face.

Just knowing that you cry,
does something more to me,
Than bringing a tear to my eye.

It reminds me of my "adopted" niece... she keeps telling me she's finde when I know darn good and well that everything's not... so I just try to be there for her... give her a shoulder to cry if she needs one...
