help me help me doctor,
i've been shot straight thru my heart,
i need a man who loves me,
and won't tear my world apart,
dr. doolittle where are you?
i know you look for me as well,
read my poetry, get to know me,
people ungraced by animals live in hell,
i do not need a mercedes,
well made fences make me smile,
so all our animals can frolic,
and i won't worry for a while,
there would be no question,
animals our sisters and brothers,
life would be in true harmony,
were we to love one another,
when we go to bed at night,
dogtails wagging, knowing we care,
man who wants to hold me tight,
bed big enough for all to share,
friends say you're out there,
you are not just a dream,
a man loving, caring, kind, real,
who understands how i feel,
so i write you this little poem,
if you're out there somewhere,
i'd really be your perfect mate,
my soulful wish i hope you hear,
i need you veterinarian,
who loves animals like me,
who has a loving hearted view,
who helps the living be,
help me help me doctor,
i've been shot straight thru my heart,
i need a man who loves all creatures,
and won't tear their world apart,
i do not want to live alone,
and i suspect nor do you,
sew my heart up with catgut,
save me or euthanize me,
no, i do not need riches,
but i do need your honesty,
dear veterinarian write me,
our lives would be poetry.

He is out there! Who knows between the two of you, you both might make an animal reserve for animals that need love. You just never know. When he finds you he will know that real gems shine and should be cherished for the treasure they are. I bet he's looking for you and asking himself the same questions! Loved your poem. Kie |

Nessa, this is great! I think that would be a perfect solution for you. A few hundred acres, you and the vet and plenty of animals to love and love back. Scenario works for me.

One word: WOW....I can't believe how much we ressemble each other.I love pets so so much,and I told myself I would marry a man that loves my bunny as much as I do.Or any pets for that matter,but mostly my bunny,she's so special to me:) And this poem is kinda weird to me considering I'm studying to be admitted into vet school,I'll find you a keeper when I'm there,hehe..Great great poem dear friend!

Awwwwww Nessa!! I love this, but that 'euthanize' part made me sad: (
Animals mean the world to me, and I love this special poem you wrote! I'm actually hoping to adopt a second dog shortly...I currently have a dog and a cat, but wish I could have umpteen more: )
