I’m chasing a feeling yet I can’t see a thing
It’s dipping and diving like a bird on a wind
The closer I reach it the further I feel
To finding the answer of what is so real.

Am I dreaming a life of how I should be?
Or living a dream of what I should see
I look for the key to open my doors
In the hope I am guided to discover my flaws

What am I looking for when I find the key?
A spiritual presence to set me free
To open my mind, set free my love
Of countless lives I’ve experienced above.

Is it a means to an end to discover my light?
Or an endless lesson to improve my might
To cast any shadows across my door
And learn to love and hate no more.

What can I learn from the spirit of life?
To open my mind, focus the light?
Discover new worlds which are oceans apart
Yet in a blink of an eye I’ve travelled by far.

I wait for that feeling........ in time it will come
The spirit released my journey begun
When I emerge from this darkness
Set free in flight and discover my presence
In the spirit of life..

I’m chasing a feeling yet I can’t see a thing

I really enjoyed reading this poem. The imagery was wonderfully done, and I've had an experience like this, so I kind of understand what you're trying to say. Well written, and well worth the read. Great job.

Very Good-PGL - Change second line to- a bird on the wing. I'd change "might" to sight.
Just suggestions, still a supurb poem.
