filled with self-assurance, the antithesis of gloom.

With a beauty so striking, you would never expect,
an intelligence not lacking in perception and tact.

Sometimes a bit sharp, and terse in her manner,
but, even then, comes the urge to embrace her:

That demure sharpness being just a cover,
concealing a caring, and soft-hearted lover.

She's not much in size, really quite petite;
yet, her presence - imposing: her personality - unique.

With a raucous laugh, delightful and infecting,
she displays a psyche that needs no correcting.

Thats my daughter-in-law, a blessing oh' so sweet,
a gift, as from heaven, making my son complete.

And what a great mom, though seemingly rough,
the child simply adores her and can't get enough,

Of her distinct manner of happy child-like play,
the babe would not have it any other way.

Heather - - we could not have chosen one more suited,
to enrich this family, you're a joy to be included.

I have a daughter-in-law similar to this. She is a blessing indeed. We are lucky to be given such gifts.
