many chores to do, and errands to run.

Keeping the children, cleaning the kitchen;
and doing it all without any *****ing.

Mopping, waxing and washing the clothes:
my routine is endless, as every mom knows.

And who do you think is oblivious of this?
-The guy who comes home expecting a kiss.

I'll get up tomorrow beginning again,
the monotonous practice that will never end.

Don't misunderstand, complaining I'm not,
I'm really very thankful for I've got:

I'm only displeased by one thing, you see;
no one seems to appreciate me.

I'll make them notice, I'll strike for a day.
Then they'll realize my work isn't play.

Interesting perspective. Didn't know why you had to swear in it, though. *confused*
Anyway - nice read.

Later.

Another great post. Nice to know a man can see it through a woman's eyes.

Oh Lionel! - this is a great post.
Rings the bell loud - as it should - about the wearysoje toil, the unthankful labor of so many housewives.
I have pondered about it many times and long. Nothing is so aggrieving than routine tasks and chores without appreciation. Heroines - hidden.
They are all "MARTHAS"
I deeply emphasize with all the Marthas over the Marys. Got to post something on the issue.
Meanwhile thanks Lionel for this so highly relevant issue - so exquisitely done.
Love and peace
Elizabeth
