Taking A Day Off From Life

I see the seemingly endless crowd,
Of people,
Who run around like worker ants,
Just trying to make it in the world.

And here I sit,
With coffee in hand,
Watching, as the stress flows out of my body.

A smile forms,
Slowly at first,
But the emotion forces it out,
Until it overwhelms my entire body.

Oh how I wish everyday was like this,
Nothing to do, yet I can do anything.
Because I have taken a day off,
A day off life,
And in doing so,
I have given myself a new outlook on life.
