Thank you Lord for blessing me,
With this special person in my life,
No more does it feel like a struggle,
No more does it feel like a strife.
We've shared so much laughter,
And so many tears,
But our love for each other,
Will grow stronger with each year.
You're the one I want to grow old with,
And forever share my days,
You're the one I want to be with,
When the good Lord calls our names.
I'll love you forever,
And cherish you with my heart,
So long as we're together,
We will never be apart.
As I reach the altar,
And look into your beautiful face,
I pray the Lord will forever bless us,
For it is our Wedding Day.

I'm glad that when I walk down the aisle,
Your face is all I see,
That this day is made for us,
You're the only one I need.
Life seems so much more,
With you next to me,

i think this poem is very worthy of any wedding and i hope they enjoy it like i did.

Very good! I too think it quite worthy of being read.
...perhaps in line 12 'a strife' could be changed to simply 'strife'?
But very nice anyhow. Blessings to them and you.

great poem i also beleive it is a worthy poem to be read at your sister's wedding. Bless you your family and your sister and her fiance on there wedding day for me
