Array ( [sid] => 36936 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Why? [time] => 2004-03-01 15:47:52 [hometext] => I'm so confused. One of my best and oldest friends has a kid. He's not mine, there's no way he could be. So why do I feel so reponsible? [bodytext] => Why?
Why do I feel responsible?
Tell me, why don't you?
It's not mine,
There's no way it could be.
I haven't done anything.
Her kid isn't mine.
We weren't even talking until
After her first five months.
There's no way it could be mine,
I haven't done anything with anyone.
I had no part in it.
So why do I feel like it's my fault.
ANSWER ME!!!!
Why don't you answer me,
I'm tired of screaming out my confusion
To no one there.
Why do I feel like
I have to take a part in its life.
I already have a girlfriend,
And it's not her
And I doubt she ever will be again.
Yes we're still good friends,
But why do I feel so guilty?
Why do I feel so responsible?
Why?
I'm pleading with you,
Begging you to tell me, please,
Why? first let me say this is a very good poem and i love how it is written...but he answer lies in your heart...stop shouting and you will hear it...you feel responsible becos you loved her once. and and when you love someone you love everything that means anything to them..there is nothing wrong with it unless you dont love the child...nothing wrong with innocently caring for anothers child...maybe deep down you wish it was yours...(smilling) slr

Hey, it's me...Melina. I liked the poem a lot...but you don't have to feel responsible for me. I think the reason you do is because of all the history we share...we're way too close as friends to feel no sense of loyalty or responsibility for each other. I hadn't seen or talked to you in weeks when it happened, and I seriously doubt there was anything you could've done to prevent it.

I don't know if that helps or not, but that's really all I know to tell you, Bryan. I'd do more if I could, but just being here for you as your friend is really all I know to do.
