In hopes of a brighter day,
Then it’s only twenty four hours,
That you have just given away.

When you go into a shell,
And shut out the rest of the world,
The ones who love you the most ,
Feel the sharp stones that at you are hurled.

The more of those days that you add up,
The less of your feeling of life.
But the deepest of all who are hurting,
Are the ones who do stand at your side!

Run and cling to those people who love you.
The ones that you’d rather not hurt.
But by leaving them out of your picture,
You may leave them all feeling like dirt.

Each moment, each breath and each hour,
Can never again be replaced.
But the way to add life to another,
Is to see the sweet smile on your face!

So true, so true!!! This is an excellent point. Life is for the living, and if we aren't living it... well, we are only hurting ourselves, and what is left of our future. What if tomorrow never comes? Great write!
