[title] => As Love Slowly Dies
[time] => 2002-09-11 09:52:13
[hometext] => Sometimes a love can die slowly before your eyes and you feel helpless to do anything about it. Unfortunately this happens to many people and it is only when two people work together that a relationship can be made to work. Perhaps this will help the one you love to listen to you and understand how you feel.

[bodytext] => I’ve heard the things you’ve said to me, you’re really not unkind,
But my heart it suffers endlessly words but fire the mind. It’s passion that I’m looking for, not reasons and excuse, Yet still I seek so desperately a way to make a truce. But when I think of all the love you’ve coldly pushed away, My heart becomes a barren place, it’s emptier each day. Hope is all that lives here now, the rest has turned to ash, I feel our love is like a plane that’s just about to crash. There was a time our love was real, in my arms you were entwined, You couldn’t wait to see my face, and kept me in your mind. Excuses were made to be with me not keep me at arms length, It was from the love you showed me that I used to gain my strength. Now separate rooms and separate lives, we share our time apart, And when I try to close the gap you trample on my heart. No closer than arms length you say you want me to remain, But when you look into my eyes don’t you see this caused me pain. Slowly into myself I draw, my emotions are restrained, So that constantly at war I feel, with nothing to be gained. What used to be a wondrous joy has become an agony, When I look deep in your eyes and see no love for me. If this is love why does it hurt, why am I torn in two, A part of me just wants to leave, a part to stay with you. I place my soul into your hands and beg you with its cries, Please do not reject me as our love it slowly dies.
