[hometext] => I wrote this just to make people think for once.
[bodytext] => Look at me in the face, What do you see? Do you see who I really am? Do you know that I do care? Can you tell who I will be? Or who I will even be with? Now look into my heart, It is the key to my life and feelings. My heart will tell you all these things It could tell you even more. Be careful with this key, Because it can break very easily. I’ll let you look into my heart, You can take a peak. Please care for what you see For not many people can look. You are one that I have chosen To look into my heart. Now remember what you see It could be your last like to look at me, To look into my heart. We say our last good-byes, You’ve done way too much. You got drunk and drove me here, To a place no one wants to be. We crashed into an electric pole And sparks went everywhere. Somehow you survived and walked away, But for me I’m lying here crushed in the car. I see a white light at the end of a tunnel And I’m trying to resist, Because I don’t want to die. All I did was let you see, How I really did trust you, And let you look into my heart. I can’t hear you crying! I can’t hear anything! All I hear is a harp playing, And a voice saying, “Come here.” You killed me! You let my key brake! How could you do that when I trusted you with it? I shouldn’t be lying in this smashed car going towards a tunnel. Next time someone lets you look into their heart. They should think twice, Because…. Drinking, driving, and love don’t mix!! Drinking can kill you, Driving while drunk can kill you, But…. Driving the one you love while drunk can kill her! ~Think~ don’t do that to the one you love By: Sarah Bumgardner On April 9, 2003 [comments] => 1 [counter] => 175 [topic] => 52 [informant] => perfection [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => goodbyepoetry )
