is something we all should do
the sounds that you can hear
can soothe and heal you too

The hustle and bustle of this life
the toxins, we breathe in
the stresses that we build up
surely, must be a sin

But every now and then
when my day is almost done
the kids are sleeping in their beds
nature and I, now become as one

I sit outside and listen
with darkness all around
and from every living thing
I hear their magical soothing sounds.

I didn't even realize it was you Mick that wrote this. The title is what attracted me to it. Nature is my first true love so to say. LoL..my alarm clock wakes me up with the sounds of a babbling brook and birds chirping. Quite a nice wake up call. I love this poem :)

Yes nature does heal. No false sounds, I love the sound of a nightingale outside my home, just calling away
