riding majestically upon the unicorn
never looking behind always ahead
her auburn hair flowing in the breeze
i call her name she looks down at me
a smile creases her lips she knows me
her hand clasps mine then i release her
she understands the unicorn lunges forth
i watch the unicorn with my mother upon
his back disappear into the swirling mist

i awake from my dream and know the time
nears for me to have to release again
it is not an easy task to do with a parent
ive done it once already unwittingly this
time is different i will know what i am doing
but will she know when God calls to her and
tells her it is time now she is to prepare for

she is part of the mythical dreams
riding majestically upon the unicorn
never looking behind always ahead

This is a masterpeice, my friend!
It's sad but U bring out the beauty in your awesome writing. It's really amazing to me the dreams U have.
Your Mom is immortal in your writing that will touch many people going thru the same thing.
I know how hard it is to let go of the last parent left. Seven years ago Jan. my father passed.
It seems like yesturday but he never really left his body played out. Mom-n-Dad 2 gether 4-ever. Your Mom riding on a unicorn. That's beautyfull.
