[title] => The Heartbreaker's Scene

[hometext] => I wrote this the morning I broke up with my ex-boyfriend because he was sickening sweet and I was dumb...
[bodytext] => I woke up this morning with a thick throat, Just from knowing what I have to do. I can’t let this go on, I’ve lied for too long. The thing is, I never meant to hurt you. I get ready for the worst day of my life, I lie on my bed and wait. If I stall long enough, Maybe I won’t have to face fate. I wish this weren’t my choice, But that’s the way it has to be. For I know that you would overlook That I’m pretending to be someone other than me. This towel on my bed used to bug me to no end, But now I barely notice it’s there. My perfectionism shadowed by worries, Of what you will say and if you will care. The words I’ve tormented over, spill and overflow, They burn and scar and cause you pain. I see your hurt, I know the bitterness But that can’t stop this heartbreaking rain. Maybe I shouldn’t have said yes in the beginning Then we might not be here now. I see the pain in the laugh you fake, Finishing my scene as heartbreaker, I close the curtain, and take my bow.
