Array ( [sid] => 35908 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => a sweet poison [time] => 2004-02-22 18:40:40 [hometext] => i never thought the words 'i love you' could lead to my death [bodytext] => Held in a breathless position of two intwining lovers
Your hand brushed my hair to the side of my face
You smiled as your hand passionately stroked my cheek
Are bodies gently caressing one anothers soft skin
never wanting to leave this perfect paridise
'That was amazing' those are the words you spoke
But it was my words I had spoken that ripped our souls apart

to see the way that your eyes did shine as you heard my whisper
feeling you touch my hand as it carefully
began to slide down my flesh accross my body
It was amazing you were right, t'was time I told the truth
Knowing how you'd react i'd never have spoken
I would never have told you my true feelings
For now my eternal pleasure has become eternal pain

Your hand would never stop stroking my skin
but your touch somehow did become more intense
No longer did i feel excitement beneath you
but a much more toxicating fear through your hands caress
You watched me try to scream, wanting my emotion
more then anyone could ever imagine
The moment you wanted to keep, from now until forever

As I repeated my last comment whilst questioning why
You only spoke the words 'to keep you as mine'
Your hands rose to my neck, turning a sweet touch into poison
Your grasp tightened so quickly hoping to hold the moment
The lack of oxygen calapsed inside my lungs
For one last time i whispered those precious words
That you would never forget, keeping me as yours, 'I love you' [comments] => 4 [counter] => 331 [topic] => 13 [informant] => fallen_eyes [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

.. and it spreads into every single one of my veins...
Very deep and touching write tam, the imagery was immense, the structure was almost perfection at its fullest truely a piece that will linger in my mind like poison upon sweet lips.
The last two lines declare their own spotlight
' For one last time i whispered those precious words,
That you would never forget, keeping me as yours, 'I love you'.' Timeless truely timeless

Great write hun

Luke

Deep, with a touch of mystery. A little dark and interesting to read. Thank you for sharing it. Kie
