through all the lies
there was pain
there was something to hide

i blamed you
it was all your fault
now that i've come through
i realize it's only myself

it seemed like the perfect solution
leaving you all to live your great lives
all this isolation and dissolution
it seemed like the timing was right

but deep down inside i knew that i couldn't
there was something more to look for
but everyone said that i wouldn't
this just made me want to more

they think i like people to feel sorry for me
so i just make up all these lies
but they'll never know what they've done to me
or how much i've actually cried

i want to go away and finally be free
i want to know what it feels like to be free from pain
hopefully one day i'll be able to leave
and say goodbye to all the people who said just go away [comments] => 4 [counter] => 183 [topic] => 36 [informant] => mystikalkreations [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Suicide )

This poem touched my core very deeply. So much pain found within this poem. I think we all have struggled with this at some point in our lives. Don't let anyone get you to this place and keep you there. I say live life to the fullest and they'll all see what they are missing out on. Well done on this one. Kie
