Walk around the circle, step to the one,
Hold something affixed as you begin to spin,
The air is thick in the room you’re in,
Enjoy a whole note crumble from a window sill,
Pick a shiny flower from right here on the hill,
Open up inside as we twist and fade,
We’ll dance like we’re nameless and call it a day.

Every second chance is a dream that breaks,
It continues to rain in the same old place,
I could step from the water, cloud out the blame,
Or I can stand on the edge and whisper a name,
A name that sinks in and gives life to emotions,
A place by a river, a million words spoken,
I can’t be perfect or be anymore than I can,
All of pride can bury out, bury in sand.

Starve in a land of your own dry thoughts,
Make up a mind, accept or abort,
There will never be time where dark clouds can’t come,
Hold to ride out the storms, or turn and run,
So we’ll see what comes around, comes to a new,
Do wishes smash into dust? Or do wishes come true?
Send out words to my world, trick me or treat,
Your hand, my hand, interlock and repeat.
