words of a poem, dance through her head,
Under the covers, you may think she's asleep,
a whisper of love, you kiss but her cheek,
She holds in her mind, words that will last,
a memory of purpose, readings of past,
She shows you the comfort, for every new day,
for she is a poet, in which I do say,
Writings on paper, she keeps by her side,
reason about her, ways as a tide,
Flowing of river, she cleanses the soul,
for she is a poet, in which I do know,
Shall I follow thee path,
when she wakes in the night,
or shall I remember, a poem, shall she write,
For there in them cover's, trying to rest,
a poem of a woman, giving her best,
She calls on forgotten, souls of the wise,
for there lie a poet, tears in her eyes,
She has discovered, a reading of life,
she is the poem, written just right,
The etching's on paper, the words how they flow,
she is a poet, the passion she shows,
I must understand, the reason she came,
God saw a poet, and gave her a name,
For in her a heart, cherished and true,
for she is a poem, written for you,
A pencil in hand, she now etches down words,
for she is a poet, in which I have heard,
There in my bed, no sleep can she see,
for she is a poet, hand flowing free,
Can you imagine, the words in her mind,
or the meaning of wisdom, words shall she find,
For there lay a poet, reason to see,
season of time, gentle to be,
Her heart is of mystery, for where does she go,
the words of her brain, only she knows,
She calls upon passion, pencil in hand,
for there lie a poem, written by hand,
She has a message, to carry you through,
there is a purpose, words are to do,
The reason a poet wakes in the night,
the writings on paper, must be done so right,
There lay a poet trying to rest,
words of her heart, soul is the best,
The etching of mystery, crumble the sound,
it is the words, in which she writes down,
No-other human, can give me such peace,
the words of a poet, never shall cease,
Light has shone reason, to wake in the morn',
for there by her side, words have been born,
I recall the structure, which lie in my bed,
for there lay a poem, written instead,
there be my side, a poet does read,
words of a poem, in which you may need,
She looks back in time, to swallow the past,
there lie a poem, writtem at last!

A MASTERPIECE if I have ever read one. A great job done here. You have composed a painting with only word, that any poet can relate too. (((Hugs))) Yellowrose.
