with you in my arms
to a beautiful sunrise

You felt so warm against me
While I felt so cold inside

You help me to remember what makes me real
Pain, grief, despair, love
All dreaded emotions
I feel bereft without

Sweet kisses at sunrise
Remind me of what I will never have

No one could ever love me
No one could ever kiss me like that
Never again

I'm too cold, too detached

Every self inflicted scar
A flash of searing heat to fight the cold

A cold numbness
Could I ever feel your love? [comments] => 7 [counter] => 160 [topic] => 13 [informant] => Devnet [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
