Her Miracle

Contributed by New_York_Chick on Saturday, 21st February 2004 @ 12:35:52 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

I heard her laugh
I saw her smile inside her heart
So happy she doesn't have to be tough
She finally found love
She tried to make this world a better place
And hold the moment, change the pace
So innocent and young
Felling like life has just begun

That girl just stepped into the world
She wanted to be open, to be bold
She went without thinking for her dream
And found love within
Cause when she met you
You were her miracle

I heard her sigh
I saw that confused look on her face
I wish I knew what was on her mind
But time was so unkind
She stambled, not anymore sure
What she should do
She never denied she needed you
When suddenly you started to change
She tried to ignore what was so strange

That girl just stepped into the world
She wanted to be open, to be bold
She was afraid of losing you
You gave her life she never knew
Cause when she met you
You were her miracle

I heard her cry
I saw her all alone the other day
She didn't have a lot to say
when you passed by
She only wondered why
When you decided to let go
She didn't know it
She stood thinking what
she should make of it
Now tell me how should she live
When she will forever and always believe

That girl just stepped into the world
She wanted to be open, to be bold
She loved you for so much more
She wasn't in your way blocking that door
Cause when she met you
You were her miracle

agree, does look more like a song, but hey, it works! read few of your's now and all have a good flow to them, sort of a prose come rythemy sound to them, I like your style.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
