Unloved
Alone
Dead
Some of the words that describe me
You probably don't know how these are true
But soon, very soon, you will understand.

The Darkness fell upon me
Like the striking sun washed away by an overwhelming rain cloud
Like your husbands death facing you, haunting you.

I was scared, oh how scared i was
Never was I expecting the Darkness
I never thought it would wrap its arms around me.

But it did, and now I am forever lost
Not only in my mind, oh no not only there
But also in the Darkness.

Now, I can't explain this Darkness, but I'll try
It's like being abused every minute, every second
Like being lost forever and not being able to ask for help.

You don't understand how I can feel that way
But I tell you, oh i tell you
Someday you will.

No one can escape it
The Darkness strangles everyone it can
And it can get us all if it is willing to, it is.

Do anything you want, anything
But it will still get you
Just like it got me. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 220 [topic] => 13 [informant] => _Nikki_ [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 14 [ratings] => 3 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
