As I sit and cry on the stool
Cutting my skin with a blade that now is in blood
Writing the word 'death' with blood rushing out like a flood

I know that I am not supposed to do this
But my life is bad enough as it is
I cut myself to release the pain
That through out the years i gain

I drop the blade onto the floor
I don't want to do this anymore
But yet again i reach for the blade
And cut over the marks i have made

I slip off the stool and slide down the wall
Trying to disappear or at least look small
The room is filled with a scream once more
As my tears roll down to the floor

I want to stop, I really do
But now I don't know if it will ever come true
As every long day goes by
I sit at home and I cut and I cry.

Sad write Nikki, I hope writing this was how you really realesed some of the hurt. Cutting is always connected to crying, got to find a way to stop the crying and the cutting should follow. Good luck with this.

My heart is not entirely cold. This too was very touching, sad and sheds some new light on this topic. No one will understand what I mean by that, but in short, I had a set in stone idea about these kinds of feelings and actions. I had no idea some of the emotions behind these actions, so I apologize to everyone who ever wrote a piece like this that I just overlooked or rolled my eyes to. I'm Sorry.
