The moon and sun are in the sky,
The great expanse, the stars that dance
Can all be seen by naked eye.

The earth does turn and stops the burn
Of gaseous sun while earth has spun,
And night and day comes out to play,
And we are happy, so they say.

It regulates our daily lives,
We wait for night to love our wives,
We wait for day to use the heat,
To earn our bread so we can eat.

We kind of know it's very large,
We kind of know someone's in charge,
We can't conceive it runs alone,
Someone has to take the phone.

And call we do as some attest,
And we are answered, ne'er in gest,
And few will doubt if needs be theres
A super being makes repairs.

Names don't matter, He's for all,
The short and fat, the lean and tall,
You're no better, you're no worse,
He's to use until the hearse. [comments] => 10 [counter] => 177 [topic] => 55 [informant] => norm [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )

Creation is a might task
Our choices are free we just ask
And something keeps the world revolving
And it ever seems to be evolving

Somehow things adjust
Because of man the earth must
We destroy all in our path
And leave it to the Creator to fix the atfermath

I really like this, you seem to make the point that there is a God without screaming the point. Even if I wasn't Born-Again I would have started to rethink my faith at least.

Some do rant and curse,
but to me, He is my universe.

This poem is undeniably good, but why is the omnipotent, omniscient creator a he?

Well done, I see "him" as a "her" the goddess.
this is very good.
