Seeing Her Blue

Contributed by misheleluv on Tuesday, 17th February 2004 @ 11:25:03 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

The light shone her eyes
Uncovered the blue
A blue she had never portrayed

So silent fell a single tear
A life that was shattered
Torn and betrayed

Her softness then embraces me
Searching my heart
Longing just

No words she speaks ~ relying on me
So comfort her
I must

The blueness fades
Grows dusty now
Questions fill her eyes

Gently closing
Slumber comes
She sleeps away the lies

I leave her then
Like always again
Releasing her from my grasp

Closing the door
Destroying her hopes
Killing her perhaps

Tomorrow ~ I will kill her again
And yet
She will receive

Her eyes once more ~ shall cry for me
And yet
I still deceive

This is a good poem, but why are you doing this to her? I don't mean to make you feel bad, but I was just curious.
